TPN Writing Class

For those of you who are just starting out, or want to get back into writing but don't know where to start, our beginner's classes can be a great place to start. Many of them require no experience at all - if you've always wanted to write but never known where to start, you'll find a supportive and welcoming environment with an experienced tutor and a group of fellow aspiring writers.

Our online courses are accessible wherever you are in the world. You'll leave with a clear idea of the requirements of your chosen genre and the technical tools you'll need to carry on writing.

This is a 6 week class held one night a week. It is a 2.5 hour class, once a week for six weeks to get you from blank page to finished script. Learn the techniques we Bobby & Renee use to get scripts done fast and increase your confidence in your ability to create characters, settings and story lines. In this class, students will be introduced to some of the basic elements of theatrical writing including vocabulary, character development and structure. You'll also have hands-on experience by writing a short script (10-15 pages). The cost of this class is $350.00

With this course, you can bring your writing to life and relaunch your creative career with confidence. If you've written before but feel you're lacking in confidence after a break, this short course will give you the knowledge, skills and inspiration to write again.

Once you know how to write a screenplay, you can start turning your ideas into screenplays of your own. This course covers the nuts and bolts of writing a screenplay and getting it produced, including how to develop an idea, create character profiles, locate story elements and provide exposition through dialogue.

By focusing on the structure of the screenplay, story-driven character development, time-tested writing practices and what is expected from screenwriters, our curriculum will help make you competitive in this exciting field.
